North Georgia HRC was founded on the concept of giving back, both to the retriever world and to the community.

For that reason, we have developed the North Georgia HRC Foundation. Our goal is to set aside a portion of the proceeds from each hunt test to be given back to charity, as well as to host charitable events to raise money that can be used to support worthy causes (The HRC Foundation, Ducks Unlimited, etc.). The NGHRC Foundation is a non-profit arm of the club that exists as a stand-alone entity, fully funded by NGHRC.

At this time, we are actively supporting a new program called “Mutts for Marines”. This non-profit organization will help combat veteran Marines cope with and adjust to life back in the United States. The program will supply them with retrievers to call their own. The Marines will be introduced to local training groups, professional trainers, HRC clubs, training equipment and the like.
